Responsibilities
- Involved in all aspects of the estimating at completion (EAC) process, from partnering with businesses to define requirements, developing and testing solutions, change management and after installation support.
- Support DT SOX and external audit requirements for the Tier 1, Sarbanes‑Oxley designated revenue recognition application.
- Create, manage and process compliant EAC artifacts that support project booking rate justification.
- Partner closely with Business Financial Controllers, Corporate Controllers, the Enterprise Services Digital team, Business Process teams and the Program Management organization to deliver accurate, timely and compliant estimates.
- Ensure system capabilities are identified and the test approach and test scripting verify compliance to requirements.
- Support customer requirements gathering, change management, test management and user acceptance portions of the project.
- Review and approve project artifacts for accuracy and completeness from a functional perspective.
- Work with solution architects to ensure the project approach meets end‑user requirements and is well documented.
- Ensure the change management approach and training material adequately support a diverse user community.
- A university degree or equivalent experience with minimum 8 years of relevant experience; an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
- Strong experience with enterprise software such as SAP/BW and knowledge of finance policies and program processes.
- Broad understanding of financial processes and enterprise systems life cycle, including pre‑award and post‑award execution activities.
- Prior strong experience in EAC development and use of the EDIT+ Tool.
- Knowledge of FAR, CAS, GAAP and revenue recognition standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interface effectively with all levels of customers and management.
- Self‑directed, proactive, motivated, and entrepreneurial attitude.
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong project management, financial and analytic skills.
- Prior experience with program controls and EVMS practices.
- Experience developing and testing the EDIT+ Tool.
- Experience with SAP, SAP‑BW, SAP EV, MFG‑EV, PMX, MS Project, Rplan and EAC EDIT Tool.
Position:
Business Process Analyst – EDIT+.
Location:
Remote (U.S.‑based). Salary range: $107,500 – $204,500 USD.
Security Clearance:
None/Not Required.
Employees working in remote roles will work primarily off‑site from home. On‑site presence may be discussed for those who live within a reasonable commute of an RTX site.
