Senior Compliance Professional
The Senior Compliance Professional ensures compliance with governmental, legal, contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements. The role involves moderately complex to complex assignments requiring in-depth evaluation of variable factors.
Responsibilities- Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures.
- Research compliance issues and recommend changes to ensure contract compliance.
- Maintain relationships with government agencies.
- Coordinate site visits for regulators and manage implementation of corrective action plans.
- Influence department strategy and make decisions on technical approaches for project components.
- Exercise latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
- Ensure accurate, timely, and complete deliverables for contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Review documentation diligently and communicate complex issues clearly and logically, verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrate leadership with integrity and a willingness to accept responsibility and implement process improvements.
- Build relationships with internal and external partners through consistency, reliability, and teamwork.
- Participate on camera for meetings, actively collaborate, lead calls, drive discussions, ask critical questions, and recommend strategies.
- Work remotely; attend office for at least one day per month and as needed for training.
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in healthcare compliance and cross‑functional collaboration.
- Knowledge of laws and regulations governed by the Department of Insurance and CMS Audit, consolidating, compliance experience.
- Intermediate or advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Experience applying laws, regulations, and contracts to achieve daily business solutions.
- J.D. or other graduate/advanced degree.
- Experience with metrics and reporting.
- Experience communicating with state regulatory agencies.
- Remote Work at Home; location flexibility within Louisville, KY or surrounding states.
- Schedule:
Monday through Friday 8‑5 Eastern. - Travel: about once a month or as business needs.
- Driving Statement:
Requires valid state driver’s license and personal vehicle liability insurance per state minimum. - Work‑at‑Home requirements: minimum download speed of 25
Mbps and upload speed of 10
Mbps; dedicated space without interruptions to protect PHI / HIPAA information.
Pay Range: $86,300 – $118,700 per year. The role is eligible for a bonus incentive plan based on company and/or individual performance.
