Assistant Buyer College

Reporting to the Associate Director, Procurement Services, you will support various departments, including Academic Divisions and Facilities Maintenance. Duties include entering requisitions, sourcing Purchase Orders, and tracking payments in People Soft.

Your role is crucial for ensuring compliance with government regulations and procurement policies, providing valuable assistance across departments for smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enter requisitions and source approved Purchase Orders

• Track and close Purchase Orders after payment

• Verify accuracy of invoicing and track expenditures

• Prepare quotations and return documentation for suppliers

• Liaise with college partners for acquisition follow-ups

Requirements:

• 1-year certificate in Office Administration or equivalent

• 2 years of procurement experience within an organization

• Strong analytical and interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

• Knowledge of public sector procurement practices
