Overview
Technical Specialist (Data and Information) – 35667. Environmental data is central to our work, and good data supports effective interventions and environmental improvements. We are looking to recruit an advisor to support environmental planning data management, with a focus on current Planning Systems data and development work. If you enjoy working with data and systems, engaging with stakeholders, improving business processes and efficiency, and solving complex technical issues, we would like to hear from you.
We collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders to define requirements and then work with digital services to create and implement solutions. We welcome enthusiastic and committed people who want to be part of a transformation journey. Some experience in environmental monitoring and/or planning is desirable but not essential.
If a large number of applications are received, an initial sift using the lead competency will be conducted, which may raise the pass mark above 4 (this does not apply to DCS candidates). Candidates who meet the required score at the initial sift will progress to a full sift or interview. Feedback is generally not available at the sift stage.
