Senior Proposal Associate – Writing

The Senior Proposal Associate – Writing leads proposal writing responsibilities for assigned projects, supports overall content management, and completes additional proposal writing team tasks as needed. The role works closely with Account Directors, subject matter experts, Proposal Managers, and other Worldwide personnel.

• Develop robust proposals and lead the writing, coordination, and presentation of responses in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and other formats.
• Collaborate with Account Directors and SMEs to manage the proposal development process.
• Participate actively in project strategy discussions to ensure product/service offerings are clearly articulated.
• Proofread, edit, rewrite, and revise documents to ensure readability, consistency, accuracy, and relevance.
• Meet proposal deadlines by establishing priorities and target dates for information gathering, writing, reviews, approvals, and signatures.
• Act as a focal point for collecting information from various sources.
• Handle multiple short‑term assignments and deliverables with strict deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Exercise sound judgment and make decisions independently.

• Effective planning, strategizing, managing, monitoring, scheduling, and critiquing skills.
• Compelling written and verbal communication skills to present information clearly and concisely.
• Strong interpersonal skills for working in a dynamic team with various personnel.
• Ability to interact with internal customers and handle frequent communication.
• Strong customer relationship management skills and commercial acumen.

• Minimum two years’ experience in CRO, pharmaceutical business development, operational, academic, or corporate environments, or as a Proposal Associate – Writing.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s or Ph.D. preferred (preferably in Life Sciences, Communications, Journalism, or Marketing).
• Experience drafting RFIs in a CRO environment, or in pharma/biotech outsourcing, preferred.
• Knowledge of the CRO/pharmaceutical industry, sales support activities, study design, project management, and operational requirements for successful study implementation.
• Ability to advise and interact with all levels of management.

Salary range: $65,000.00 – $ per annum (United States). Compensation will be determined based on experience, performance, education, and internal equity.
