Data and Performance Measurement Analyst

"If we can get one child adopted into a loving family, all our work will be worth it."

– Dave Thomas

Join us as we champion our mission to dramatically increase the number of adoptions of children waiting in North America’s foster care systems. We’ve helped more than 16,000 young people find safe, permanent homes across the United States and Canada, but our mission is not complete. Invest your career in making a difference and join the Dave Thomas Foundation for Adoption team.

We offer a supportive workplace where you can make an impact. We are dedicated to creating a diverse, inclusive and equitable work environment for Foundation staff, while advocating for measurable change toward racial equity within the child welfare system.

We are seeking excellent talent to help advance our mission. Located in Dublin, Ohio, we are looking for a collaborative and detail-oriented data & performance measurement analyst to join our Program team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to apply advanced analytics using our Wendy’s Wonderful Kids Child Trends database to measure and document the work and progress of the Foundation.

Your work will directly help ensure program alignment by using data to evaluate effectiveness and inform strategic decision making. You will play a critical part in demonstrating the impact of Wendy’s Wonderful Kids program to internal and external stakeholders by leveraging both quantitative and qualitative data to tell its story.

If you are ready to bring your analytical expertise to drive meaningful impact by translating complex data into clear evidence-based, mission-driven insights that advance positive outcomes for children served by the Foundation, we encourage you to learn more and apply.

  • Maintain and update performance dashboards and data visualizations for the Foundation, including supporting the preparation of recurring monthly, quarterly and annual Wendy’s Wonderful Kids reports
  • Analyze program demographics, census, utilization, outcomes and other key data; pull, extract and validate data from multiple sources to support routine reporting and ensure strong data hygiene, integrity and appropriate handling of de-identified data
  • Apply established statistical tools and reporting methods, using SAS or R, to conduct quantitative analyses, identify trends in program outcomes and fidelity metrics and communicate insights through data storytelling, visualization and presentations for diverse stakeholders
What You Bring

  • 4+years of program management experience with a focus on data analytics
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience using R required, including scripting for data analysis and reproducible workflows
  • Experience with SAS and Python strongly preferred
  • Experience in child welfare with a focus on evidence-based and data-driven practices preferred
  • Demonstrated experience with program evaluation or performance measurement, including the ability to quantify KPIs, assess implementation fidelity and conduct pre- and post-analysis to measure program effectiveness and outcomes
