Responsibilities and Duties
  • The Workforce Strategy Analyst uses data and analytics to drive operational efficiency and support business growth and results.
  • The role analyzes field behaviors and store KPIs to identify opportunities to drive efficiency.
  • Work with the Retail Operations, Field Leadership team, finance and business partners to establish action plans to convert these opportunities; establishing the optimal payroll model, improving store KPIs and accelerating business growth.
  • Support in the development and execution of company Staffing and Scheduling strategy, ongoing census and store org chart evaluation.
  • Support in developing strategies to drive productivity and 4‑wall profitability.
  • Support Payroll Budget creation and management.
  • Assist in the communication of payroll performance and workforce strategy to field and business partners.
  • Extract and manage larger volumes of various data, identifying trends and linking behaviors, and display the findings in creative and easy to understand charts, tables and presentations.
  • Create exception-based reporting tools and streamline processes.
  • Use labor and payroll analysis tools to further enhance labor scheduling process through creation and implementation of training programs and user materials.
  • Respond to payroll and labor system questions and training needs; gather technical issues and partner with appropriate departments to develop solutions.
  • Responsible for commission and bonus calculations, payout, and reporting process.
  • Project management: manage tasks for multiple deliverables simultaneously, manage resources, set dates and goals, check progress regularly, maintain project‑related documents, anticipate obstacles and make necessary adjustments to ensure on‑time delivery.
  • Provide the highest level of customer service to the field and home office.
  • Support project implementation and KPI initiatives through facilitation, project management and documentation follow‑up.
  • Produce monthly/weekly/daily reports to assist the management team in enhancing and defining performance metrics.
  • Support other projects as assigned to enable Retail Operations and workforce strategy overall functionality.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Ability to break down complex information into parts, assess relationships, and evaluate evidence objectively.
  • Ability to make sound recommendations on workforce strategy by weighing trade‑offs, risks, and downstream impacts.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment to prioritize tasks and to delegate when appropriate.
  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
  • Experience working with retail or frontline teams is highly preferred.
  • Financial acumen to manage budgets, forecasting and cost optimization.
  • Collaborative mindset with a proactive approach to problem‑solving.
  • Ability to challenge assumptions, ask the right questions, and explore alternative perspectives.
  • Strong communication skills (listening, written, verbal, facilitation) and ability to build strong relationships cross‑functionally.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (Smartsheet or similar); excellent Excel & Adobe Acrobat skills; strong Word, Outlook & Adobe Suite.
  • Must be able to work various hours depending on project scope and needs.
  • Ability to travel.
