Job Overview
Canon USA, located in Burlington, NJ, is seeking a Strategic Pricing Analyst. The analyst develops price strategies for Workplace Technologies & Services customers, builds financial models for large‑scale bid opportunities, and supports existing contracts and programs. The role collaborates with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Contracts, and Solutions teams to ensure accurate and timely proposals.
This full‑time hybrid position requires office presence Monday through Wednesday, with the option to work from home the remaining days; work schedules may change based on business needs.
Your Impact – Responsibilities- Develop new business pricing and guide pricing decisions, analyzing and facilitating the execution of pricing strategies.
- Calculate proposed ROI for customer opportunities (including RFPs) and articulate risks and requirements.
- Develop in‑depth profitability financial models for business transactions and RFPs for a variety of clients.
- Execute comprehensive pricing strategies, provide solutions, and make recommendations.
- Identify opportunities for change and implement price modifications, ensuring compliance with internal controls.
- Apply in‑depth knowledge of company terms and conditions to assess and respond to customer terms in RFP responses.
- Populate customer’s RFP submission template based on inputs from the financial model.
- Create contract profiles for opportunities that result in a win.
- Work with Business Operations and BPR teams to create/update contracts and/or price lists for order processing.
- Build professional, positive relationships with all departments in the workplace.
- Present pricing solutions and response strategies to senior leadership and the sales team.
- Bachelor’s degree required (Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting) plus 3–5 years of related experience.
- High level of business acumen (knowledge of P&L, ability to support finance organization).
- Advanced MS Excel modeling experience (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and make sound decision‑making judgments; strong statistical and critical‑thinking skills; self‑starter.
- Sound decision making, high accuracy, and solid task prioritization skills.
- Experience with Google Workspace is a plus.
- Occasional overtime may be required.
Salary Range: $66,300 – $81,550 per year.
