OverviewThe Senior Project Manager will lead cross‑functional teams in designing and launching physiological sensing products as part of Medtronic’s Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) organization. Based in Lafayette, CO, the role focuses on end‑to‑end project management, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business goals.
Responsibilities- Lead or leverage cross‑functional teams to evaluate, develop, and manage projects for new product development and lifecycle management.
- Oversee operational aspects of ongoing projects, serving as liaison between project management, planning, project team, and line management.
- Manage development and implementation processes for products and services, coordinating with departmental or cross‑functional teams.
- Review project status and budgets; manage schedules and prepare status reports.
- Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, assessing issues and developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client‑satisfaction goals.
- Develop mechanisms for monitoring progress and for intervention and problem solving with managers and stakeholders.
- Gather requirements, plan and elicit requirements, and manage them to meet the needs of key stakeholders.
- Communicate with stakeholders and obtain stakeholder engagement to ensure solutions solve business problems.
- Bachelor’s degree and minimum of 4 years of experience leading complex projects
* OR* Master’s degree with minimum 2 years of experience
* OR* PhD with no prior experience. - Previous experience leading new product development projects that navigate technical, regulatory, and quality risks.
- Experience launching products in the medical device industry or other heavily regulated industries.
- Strong influence and management skills, capable of working collaboratively with cross‑functional leaders and stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience working across global teams and in matrixed organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to lead effectively in environments of uncertainty and change.
- Hybrid work model, primarily office with some remote work.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills for cross‑functional discussions and stakeholder engagement.
- Flexible travel to support program initiatives, partnership engagements or executive meetings, domestically and internationally.

Benefits& Compensation
Competitive salary $118,400 – $177,600 (US except PR). Eligible for Medtronic Incentive Plan and other benefits including health, dental, vision, HSA, 401(k), paid time off, stock purchase plan, and career development programs.
