Supplier Specialist; Remote - Residing in Phoenix, AZ Area

Location

Remote. Must reside in the Phoenix, AZ area. Travel up to 80% of your time onsite at suppliers and 20% working from home.

• Identify bottleneck/capacity constraints to develop improvement and mitigation plans for improved on-time delivery from suppliers.
• Acquire a vision of the big picture and understand that enhancing operational effectiveness is key to organizational business performance.
• Drive for results, consistently pursuing continued ways to accomplish goals and objectives that require extraordinary determination, self-motivation, and interpersonal skills to satisfy customers’ needs.
• Develop a strong understanding of the products and the operational processes they go through at the suppliers you will be working with.
• Generate opportunities to break functional, operational, and logistical barriers faced with getting products out the door.
• Reveal and work to remove barriers to business goals specific to the on-time delivery of parts.
• Effectively drive tasks/projects to completion, including leading indicator data collection: RM availability and on order, WIP tracking, quality notification closures, and sub-tier supplier tracking.
• Work with multiple projects and interact with several departments and various levels of management simultaneously.
• Manage/assist with process improvement projects, prioritize project work, and support the needs of the CORE operating system.
• Utilize project-management approach and process-improvement discipline to lead projects according to plan, including identifying and mitigating project risks.
• Gather feedback and work to identify new improvement projects in conjunction with Supplier Development Leaders.
• Be an active participant in Commodity Days, EMMs, and SEMO (Supplier Exec Management Overviews), and co-lead with customers and Supplier Development Leaders on the respective Supplier.
• Travel up to 80% of your time within the Phoenix, AZ area and be onsite at suppliers 80% of your time, 20% working from home.

• A college degree or equivalent experience and 5 years of prior delivery assurance, supply chain, or related experience; or an advanced degree with 2 years of experience.
• Reside in the Phoenix, AZ area.
• U.S. citizenship (required).

• Experience in operations, supply chain management, or related field.
• Quick learner who grasps the essence of what is happening and can change course rapidly.
• Strong relationship builder with peers and partners outside the team to enable higher performance.
• Openness to ideas of others, analytical mindset, and ability to develop innovation into reality.
• Flexible, enthusiastic self-starter.
• Proficient in SAP and Qlik/Power BI.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.

Salary range: $86,800 to $165,200 USD.
