Reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing, the Business Manager is a project manager and liaison between our brands and the Strategic Sourcing team. Working closely with the brands in their portfolio, the Business Manager ensures proper communication to all stakeholders with respect to product integration, product changes, forecasting and product development. The Business Manager is responsible for coordinating product, menu and limited time offer rollouts to the field, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise.
Whatyou will do in this role:
- Communicate product/vendor changes to brands
- Communicate product and menu implementation plan to brands
- Ensure sufficient inventory and notification of new and/or promotional items
- Manage forecasting process to reduce potential liability of excess stock or loss of sales
- Represent Strategic Sourcing on cross functional teams (PMT)
- Coordinate/management of brand-led initiatives from brief through to completion
- 3-5 years food industry experience or project management
- Strong planning and coordination skills, including the ability to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities.
- Ability to manage resources, anticipate issues and monitor business controls
- Ability to pivot project objectives and manage change on the fly
- Strong understanding of the distribution processes
- Ability to clearly communicate your ideas and provide accurate feedback
- Ability to demonstrate and ensure team delivery of quality customer service according to defined standards
- Ability to prioritize the team/company goals and work with others to achieve those goals
- Flexible/Hybrid work environment
- Pay range: $70,000 - $90,000
