**** THE POSITION AND THE DEPARTMENT
** This position provides expertise to the largest community college in the Minnesota State system in various areas of academic planning, serves as an authority on, and exercises leadership in, evaluating course planning for compliance with organizational standards and system policy, and supports the implementation of all curriculum matters associated with the Academic Affairs & Standards Council (AASC). This role develops analytical resources to support institutional effectiveness and uses said resources directly as an analyst as well as to provide administration with analytical resources to guide planning.

This position oversees organization-wide management of all academic spaces and their utilization. This position works extensively with Academic Affairs data, including ensuring data integrity.

This position will actively advance the college’s strategic goals, including to achieve equity in educational outcomes and to support a culturally responsive and service-oriented culture, through individual and departmental efforts.
** YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
**** Minimum:
*** A minimum of 2 years of experience in higher education including academic planning, facility management, data analysis, and/or curricular management.  A bachelor's degree may substitute for one year of experience: and Associate’s degree may substitute for six months of experience
* Experience with data querying, analysis, and reporting as they relate to institutional goals
* Ability to organize multiple priorities and effectively carry out complex oral and written instructions with minimum supervision sufficient to perform the responsibilities of the position
* Experience communicating and working with a variety of partners across department types common to institutions of higher education
* Knowledge and understanding of curriculum, programs of study, and academic course scheduling is essential
** Preferred:
*** Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data analysis, or education or educational administration
* Experience and proven ability to analyze information, determine solutions and make recommendations that will meet the needs of changing educational programs/course schedules
* Experience with software typical for data querying, preparation, analysis and visualization reporting such as Microsoft Excel, Access, and Power BI
* Demonstrated involvement in both policy development and implementation in a higher-education setting
