As a Management Analyst Manager with the Department of Transportation, you will oversee critical material, procurement, and inventory processes that support transportation operations across the Commonwealth. This position will allow you to manage a dedicated team, develop policies, and collaborate with partners statewide. This position leads the Materials and Inventory Management Section by overseeing procurement activities, inventory processes, statewide training, and helpdesk operations. As a Management Analyst Manager, you will perform the following duties:
- Section Leadership:Plan and direct daily work, set goals, and oversee a team responsible for procurement and inventory activities
- Policy Guidance:Develop procedures, recommend policies, and support purchasing and inventory management across the Department
- Inventory Oversight:Manage statewide materials inventories and ensure accurate reporting of maintenance material usage
- Training Management:Coordinate development and delivery of training programs related to inventory, procurement, and purchasing
- Procurement Support:Review procurement needs, assist with contracting processes, and ensure compliance with statewide requirements
- Helpdesk Supervision:Oversee the procurement and inventory helpdesk to support staff statewide and identify areas for improvement
- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch.
- This position will be headquartered in the Keystone Building with possibility of an alternate work location at an Engineering District Office if space is available.
- Telework:You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time. Additional details may be provided during the interview.

- One year of experience as a Management Analyst Supervisor (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration);
or - Four years of progressively responsible experience in technical management analysis work which included one year supervising the evaluation of work methods, procedures, or organizational structures, and a bachelor's degree;
or - Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
