Regulatory Compliance Specialist
THE POSITION
As a Human Resource Analyst 2 with the Office of Administration, you will play a key role in developing safety programs and supporting agencies throughout the Department of Human Services. This role gives you the opportunity to serve as Safety Coordinator, provide training, assist with safety reviews, and help strengthen important workplace procedures. You will collaborate with consultants, managers, and staff to ensure effective and consistent safety practices.

This role focuses on developing safety programs, coordinating training, and monitoring workplace compliance for the Department of Human Services. It involves guiding safety practices, reviewing agency procedures, and supporting responses to workplace concerns. As a Human Resource Analyst 2, you will perform the following duties:
- Safety Coordination:
Administer the agency safety program and support compliance with Accident and Illness Prevention Program requirements - Program Development:
Create and revise safety procedures and ensure distribution and implementation across field sites - Training Support:
Develop and conduct training on employee safety, hazard awareness, and regulatory requirements - Compliance Monitoring:
Review safety reports, site audits, and committee minutes to identify issues and recommend improvements - Incident Analysis:
Evaluate accident and illness data to support corrective actions and improve safety practices - Workplace Guidance:
Assist with workplace violence prevention efforts and provide technical assistance to managers and staff

Work Schedule and Additional Information- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, two days a week in the office and three days work from home. Telework will potentially be available after the completion of the six month probationary period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.

- One year as a Human Resource Analyst 1 or Equal Opportunity Specialist 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of analytical experience that includes one year of professional human resource or equal opportunity experience, and a bachelor’s degree; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
