Role Description
The Product Specialist is a contract role based in Akron, OH with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration and some work from home. This role focuses on becoming an expert in the spoc.ai platform, demonstrating product capabilities, and supporting customers and internal teams with product-related questions.
Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting product walkthroughs, testing, gathering customer feedback, assisting with onboarding and training, and collaborating with sales and customer success teams to ensure effective product adoption.
The Product Specialist will analyze usage data and customer workflows, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate insights to the product and engineering teams.
This position also contributes to documentation, support materials, and best practices to help organizations get maximum value from spoc.ai.
Qualifications
- Product specialization skills, including experience working as a Product Specialist or in a similar product-focused role.
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data, understand customer workflows, and identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences.
- Customer service skills, with a focus on building trust, resolving issues, and supporting users through onboarding and ongoing use.
- Sales-related skills, such as supporting demos, handling product questions during the sales cycle, and collaborating with sales teams.
- Experience with SaaS or AI-driven products, ideally in occupational health, safety, or workplace risk management, is beneficial.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment in Akron, OH, managing time and priorities across on-site, client sites and remote work.
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, technology, related healthcare, or other related field.
