Assistant Business Controller

The Business Controller Assistant will act as a finance business partner to operational teams, influencing performance through data-driven discussions. Ensure clarity and transparency of financial performance across regions through structured communication. This role involves assisting in the analysis of reporting, budgeting, digital initiatives, integration of acquisition (if required), ERP roll-out and project management in general.

• Proactively challenge business performance by identifying risks and opportunities through data analysis and driving corrective actions with operational teams
• Support the automation of budgeting and forecasting processes
• Pursue automation and efficiency in accounting and internal control compliances
• Support the Business Controller in ad-hoc financial projects and tasks
• Actively participate as key user in ERP roll-out coordination

• Understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in project management and digital transformation initiatives
• Strong focus on organization changes management
• Able to analyze and solve issues with a solution-oriented approach
• Resilient and able to work under pressure to reach project goals and milestones
• Solid leadership and communication skills
• Good command of English is a must
• Bachelor or university degree

This role offers a hybrid working arrangement, allowing you to split your time between working remotely and being on-site at our office in Boom (Antwerp).
