SummaryResponsible for executing RFP documents for the Pace Environmental commercial team. Additionally, manages the supporting materials / documentation to ensure that we represent Pace appropriately and professionally. Serves as point of contact between functions to gather the information and drive an appropriate level of support from other functions.
Essential Functions- Oversees the creation of RFP responses, proposals and bids describing our services in response to requests from potential and existing clients.
- Manages and meets proposal deadlines by establishing project priorities and due dates for the proposals.
- Collaborates and coordinates with internal contributors and subject matter experts to ensure content is complete, accurate and maximizes business opportunities.
- Develops and establishes a repository of templates, standard language and product collateral, exhibits and other data resources to create high quality and accurate responses.
- Establishes a tracking system with win-loss information and analyzes the data to improve the process.
- Provides input to the strategic goals of the RFP's, proposals, bids.
- Develops a robust process to manage RFP's and communicates to the functional teams' expectations.
- Identifies and manages respective functional owners that support the process.
- Works with marketing to ensure materials are properly branded.
- Identifies potential tools to streamline the process.
- Promotes and supports the overall mission of Pace Analytical by demonstrating courteous and cooperative behavior when interacting with customers and staff; acts in a manner that promotes a harmonious and effective workplace environment.
Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in business administration or a closely related field; AND two (2) years of sales support experience; OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.

- Methods to communicate with staff, coworkers, and customers to ensure safe,effective and appropriate operations.
- Correct business English, including spelling, grammar and punctuation.
- Performing professional-level sales duties in a variety of assigned areas.
- Overseeing and administering various sales functions.
- Training others in policies and procedures related to the work.
- Serving as a team member and the development and management of projects.
- Operating in a both a team and individual contributor environment.
- Interpreting, applying and explaining applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- Preparing intermediate to complex functionals reports, correspondence and other written materials.
- Using initiative and independent judgment within established department guidelines.
- Using tact, discretion and prudence in working with those contacted in the course of the work.
- Performing effective oral presentations to large and small groups across functional peers and the department.
- Contributing effectively to the accomplishment of team or work unit goals, objectives and activities.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with a variety of individuals contacted in the course of the work.
Mobility to work in an office setting, use standard office equipment and stamina to sit for extended periods of time; strength to lift and carry up to 10 pounds; vision to read printed materials and computer screens; and hearing and speech to communicate in person or over the telephone.
