Position: Sustainability Analyst (Japanese Speaking) CSRWORKS INTERNATIONAL PTE. LTD.

Role and introduction

We support organisations on sustainability strategy, reporting, climate action, sustainability ratings, and assurance.

We are hiring entry-level,Japanese-speaking Sustainability Analysts to join our consulting team. This role is ideal for fresh graduates and post-graduates who want to build strong, practical skills and a long-term career in sustainability consulting.

You will work on real client projects from day one, contribute to professional deliverables, and learn directly from experienced practitioners. CSRWorks is a Certified Great Place to Work®. CSRWorks is also a carbon‑neutral company.

Responsibilities

Support sustainability consulting engagements across reporting, climate and carbon management, sustainability ratings, and assurance
Coordinate various sustainability projects for clients in Japan
Research sustainability standards, regulations, and best practices
Collect, validate, and analyse data for client disclosures and assessments
Draft sections of sustainability reports, presentations, and client materials
Support project coordination, quality reviews, and timelines
Collaborate with team members across projects and geographies

Requirements

We are looking for motivated candidates with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant discipline
Native‑level Japanese language (speaking and writing) proficiency and working‑level English (speaking) is mandatory.
Strong interest in sustainability, climate change, or corporate responsibility
Good research, analytical, and writing skills
Ability to structure information clearly and communicate insights through written and presentation materials
Attention to detail and comfort working with structured data
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Comfortable using digital tools; familiarity with responsible use of AI is an advantage; programming skills will be an added advantage
Comfort working with numbers; basic statistical or data modelling skills are an advantage. Ability to manage multiple tasks and work to deadlines
Willingness to work with clients and teams across different time zones when required
Prior internships or academic projects in sustainability are a plus, but not essential
