Position Summary
This person will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Nebraska Business Development Center ( NBDC ) office as well as providing assistance to ensure all open grants programs of the NBDC and CBA are being properly executed and reported upon.
The Business Manager Grant Financial Officer (BM/ GFO ) will oversee compliance for government (federal and state) grants and cooperative agreements for the NBDC and provide support and consultation to the departments in the College of Business Administration ( CBA ) for government grants and cooperative agreements as needed. The BM/ GFO will work closely with project investigators (PI) in grant generation, required grant financial reporting (monthly/quarterly/yearly), monthly analysis of expenditures, federal effort reporting requirements, and advise on liquidation of grant monies at close-out.
Grant officer may provide training for CBA and NBDC faculty and staff on grant budgeting, narratives, and submission as needed or directed.
