Business Optimization Manager

This role reports to the Director of Business Optimization and supports P&L growth and business operations for Roku’s Product groups, including the following key product areas:
Home Screen, Browse/Destinations, Sports, Live, Search, Content on Home, Themed Experiences, and TRC. The position is based in California and offers an annual salary range of $164,500‑$201,600, along with equity, health insurance, life insurance, disability benefits, parental leave, wellness benefits, and paid time off.

• Organizing and running Monthly Business Reviews for Key Product Areas
• Identifying and proposing tactics that optimize Gross Profit across Key Product Areas and developing processes that improve operational efficiency across Roku orgs and feed into the Product Roadmap
• Opportunity sizing for Feature Guides tied to Key Product Areas
• Collaborating with PMs and Business Leads to optimize Monetization strategy for Key Product Areas, ensuring Roku maximizes platform monetization while balancing engagement and viewer sentiment metrics
• Providing operational and strategic support for major cross‑functional initiatives and decisions
• Developing and optimizing operational policy development and enforcement for the Roku Home Screen

• MBA preferred or minimum Bachelor’s degree in Business, Science, Finance, or related field
• 5‑7 years of experience in Consulting, Business Operations, or Product
• A curious mindset and collaborative approach to working across functions
• Proven communication skills across stakeholders, including engineering, sales, product, and senior executives
• Competent judgment and ability to influence decision‑making across functions
• Experience developing new businesses and running existing ones
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office:
  Excel, PowerPoint, Word
