Hybrid Work Arrangement
This position is hybrid, offering 18 remote work days per quarter to use at your discretion, subject to manager approval. You may work in the office four days per week and take one remote day weekly, with five additional remote days available as needed.
About the RoleSenior Associate, Portfolio Analytics – 3rd party vendor partnership lead focused on Acuity Analytics. Partner closely with internal teams (QIS and Portfolio Analytics) to strengthen delivery, improve processes, and support growth of data management and due diligence capabilities.
Responsibilities Lead Vendor Oversight and Governance- Facilitate regular governance meetings with third‑party vendors, drive discussions, and track outcomes.
- Review and analyze engagement data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for efficiency improvements.
- Serve as primary point of contact for third‑party queries, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
- Proactively identify and raise issues, working collaboratively toward resolution.
- Operate effectively within unstructured processes, bringing clarity and organization to evolving workflows.
- Build and maintain clear documentation to support consistency and knowledge sharing.
- Identify gaps in current processes and recommend practical, data‑driven improvements.
- Partner with technology and data teams to enhance workflows, automation, and system integration.
- Support critical processes during transitions, volume spikes, or resource constraints.
- Build cross‑functional expertise across key workflows (cash flows, operating metrics, company performance data, internal/external requests).
- Contribute ideas and recommendations for ongoing operational improvements.
- Build strong working relationships across global teams to promote transparency and alignment.
- Contribute to structured vendor‑related risk and control management.
- Support data quality efforts through validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution.
- Perform targeted quality reviews, including random sampling of vendor output, to confirm adherence to defined processes and standards.
- Proficiency in reviewing financial documents (balance sheets, income statements, cash flow reports, investment schedules). Preference for private equity or alternative investment experience.
- Background in private markets, portfolio analytics, or due diligence processes.
- Knowledge of critical performance indicators, data governance concepts, and data quality control frameworks.
- Experience partnering with quantitative or data‑driven teams in fluid or developing settings.
- Experience assisting operational improvement or transformation initiatives.
- Experience with platforms such as SharePoint, eFront, S & P Capital IQ, Pitchbook, or comparable systems.
- Experience with data governance or frameworks aiding quality oversight.
- Familiarity with workflow automation platforms (Power Automate).
- Background in handling unstructured data and evolving processes, building structure and clarity.
- Clear and effective communication skills, confident addressing senior team members.
- Experience collaborating with third‑party vendors or global teams is a plus.
- Curiosity and ownership in improving processes and workflows.
- Ability to prioritize competing demands and work jointly with different teams.
- Attention to detail and focus on delivering high‑quality, accurate work.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive, can‑do attitude.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5–8 years of experience within the financial services sector, operational functions, data management, or related field.
- MBA or other advanced credentials are a plus but not required.
Salary and Benefits
Base Salary Range: $90,000.00 – $ USD. Eligible for discretionary annual bonus based on firm performance. Total compensation may include eligibility for long‑term reward programs and a comprehensive reward package that may include retirement, health, insurance, paid time off, and wellness programs. The posted ranges do not apply outside the U.S. and should not be converted to other currencies as a proxy for compensation in other countries.
