Regulatory Compliance Specialist

The Senior Insurance Product Compliance Professional serves as a subject matter expert and primary resource for ensuring Humana's Member Marketing and Communication materials follow all federal and state regulatory requirements. You will oversee compliance activities for insurance products and focus on the comprehensive approval and filing of marketing and communication materials. You will mentor compliance associates, implement process improvement plans and engage directly with regulators and internal leadership to guide compliance excellence.

- Oversee the review of Member Marketing and Communication materials for compliance with CMS and State regulations providing expert guidance and approval
- Implement filing of materials with CMS and State agencies including complex and escalated submissions
- Be the primary liaison with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Legal, Sales) and external regulatory bodies for compliance matters
- Monitor and interpret regulatory changes providing strategic guidance to partners and ensuring rapid adaptation of materials and processes
- Develop enhanced documentation and record‑keeping systems for compliance reviews and filings
- Strategize and deliver responses to compliance audits, investigations, and regulatory inquiries related to marketing and communications
- Identify, design, and implement process improvement plans to strengthen compliance controls and efficiency at the enterprise level
- Mentor Insurance Product Compliance staff, sharing best practices and facilitating knowledge transfer
- At least 5 years of experience in Medicare and/or Medicaid, insurance, marketing, business, law, communications, or related field
- Knowledge of CMS marketing guidelines and/or Medicaid marketing requirements
- Demonstrated project leadership skills and the ability to manage complex compliance projects
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leadership and regulators
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management tools
- Bachelor's Degree
- Regulatory compliance, product compliance, auditing or consulting experience
- Metrics and dashboard development experience
- Background in Medicaid and/or Dual Eligible Special Needs (DSNP) Plans or products
Travel:
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay RangeThe compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$78,400 - $107,800 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
