The Logistic Customer Support and Relations role is a full-time position based in Singapore with a hybrid work arrangement, combining on-site collaboration with some work-from-home flexibility. In this role, the individual will handle customer inquiries related to logistics, delivery timelines, and order status, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional responses. Daily activities include coordinating with internal departments and external partners to resolve transport and distribution issues, tracking shipments, updating systems, and maintaining clear documentation.
The role also involves monitoring service performance, proactively communicating with customers and dealers about potential delays or changes, and supporting process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction. The individual will work closely with regional stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics operations and uphold Daimler Truck's service standards.
- Strong customer service and relationship management skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience in logistics, supply chain, or transport coordination, including shipment tracking, order management, and problem resolution.
- Excellent organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry.
- Proficiency in common office and collaboration tools (e.g., MS Office, CRM or ERP systems) and comfort working in a hybrid environment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in English; additional regional languages are an advantage.
- Ability to work both independently and in cross-functional teams, with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Prior experience in commercial vehicles, automotive, or industrial B2B environments is beneficial.
- Relevant diploma or degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
