Growth And Integration Manager

The Growth and Integration Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating due diligence activities, developing integration plans, preparing internal presentations and transaction documentation, and ensuring the secure handling of confidential information throughout the acquisition process. This role partners with cross-functional teams to manage Day 1 readiness, oversee the integration of business processes, systems, and teams, monitor integration milestones, and drive post-close activities that achieve operational alignment, minimize business disruption, and maximize the value of each acquisition.

The Growth and Integration Manager is responsible for leading the full acquisition integration lifecycle, from pre-close planning and cross-functional due diligence coordination through post-close execution and optimization. This role manages multiple due diligence work streams across Finance, Legal, Operations, HR, IT, and other functional areas; leads integration planning and cross-functional project management; drives change management; and oversees the integration of systems and business processes.

The role ensures acquired businesses are successfully aligned with company operations while maximizing the long-term value of each acquisition.

Success in this role requires exceptional communication, organization, and project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple concurrent initiatives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment while maintaining the highest level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality. The Growth and Integration Manager partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams throughout the acquisition lifecycle; from pre-close due diligence and integration planning through post-close execution and optimization, and plays a key role in advancing the company's long-term growth strategy.

This position offers the flexibility to work remotely; however, travel of approximately 25–50% is required based on transaction and integration needs. Travel may include visits to prospective acquisition targets, acquired businesses, customer locations, and company facilities, and may occasionally require work outside of normal business hours to support critical project milestones and integration activities.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate multiple cross-functional due diligence work streams, partnering with internal stakeholders and external advisors to evaluate integration plans.
  • Develop, maintain, and manage transaction documentation, due diligence materials, and integration deliverables while ensuring compliance with internal standards and confidentiality requirements.
  • Partner with company Finance, Legal, Human Resources, Operations, IT, and executive leadership to evaluate operational readiness, identify integration risks, and facilitate informed decision-making throughout the transaction lifecycle.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive integration plans, including Day 1 readiness, systems integration, business process alignment, and organizational change management to ensure a seamless transition and long-term value realization.
  • Lead post-close integration initiatives by coordinating cross-functional teams, monitoring integration milestones, resolving issues, and driving accountability to achieve integration objectives.
  • Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, integration updates, and transaction documentation for senior leadership and internal teams.
  • Coordinate, manage, and participate in due diligence processes, including collaboration with cross-functional teams and external advisors.
  • Coordinate communications across internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment, transparency, and timely execution throughout acquisition and integration activities.
  • Stay current on market trends, industry developments, and M&A best practices to inform strategic decisions.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and acquisition documentation for executive leadership and external partners.
  • Demonstrate sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion while managing multiple high-priority initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment under time pressure; communicates concepts succinctly to executives.

Minimum Qualifications (Experience, Skills, and Education):

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field. MBA is considered a plus.
  • Proven experience in mergers & acquisitions, or a closely related field is desired.
  • Prior experience (2–4 years) supporting mergers and acquisitions, business integrations, new location openings, or other strategic growth initiatives.
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Able to synthesize analytical findings into clear, meaningful insights and communicate them confidently to senior leaders and external associates.
