Portfolio Reporting & Program Governance Analyst/AVP
Biz Tek People is hiring a Portfolio Reporting & Program Governance Analyst/AVP for a remote contract supporting a global financial services firm's Transformation & Delivery Office. This role sits within a Portfolio Reporting and Head Office Coordination team, driving enterprise PMO reporting, project governance, and portfolio management across the organization. The role is roughly 50% reporting and 50% governance, with a strong emphasis on thinking critically about how to make reporting more efficient.
Ideal for a PMO or Business Analyst professional with around 5 years of experience (flexible for the right candidate) who's comfortable managing recurring reporting deadlines, cross-functional stakeholders, and process standardization.
Requirements:
- 3-5+ years of experience in Project Management, PMO, or Business Analyst capacity
- Strong experience working in an enterprise PMO or supporting complex, strategic initiatives
- Superior written and verbal communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to influence and drive follow-up across teams without direct reporting authority
- Basic knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
- Comfort working in a multicultural, global enterprise environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce and edit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and ad-hoc portfolio status reporting, including project/work package and milestone tracking
- Support day-to-day portfolio governance for the company's strategic portfolio — templates, tools, procedures, change management, and required project artifacts
- Coordinate with project managers and stakeholders to drive timely reporting, resolve data quality issues, and support governance readiness
- Support ongoing maintenance and annual refresh of PMO standards, procedures, training materials, and reporting templates
- Identify opportunities to apply automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting quality and efficiency
