Solv Energy is a leading provider of infrastructure services to the power industry, designing, building and maintaining large‑scale solar, battery storage and high voltage substation projects across the United States.

The Operations Training Manager is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering engaging training programs on SOLV Energy’s ERP systems, tailored to role‑specific Operations end users. This role ensures that training—whether in‑person or virtual—meets defined objectives and leverages a deep technical understanding of the various systems and their application across enterprise‑wide and business‑unit specific processes. The trainer collaborates closely with cross‑functional teams to align content with standards and best practices, and serves as a conduit for feedback to identify gaps and recommend improvements.

Fully remote or hybrid; regular in‑office presence required in San Diego, CA;
Edison, NJ; or Bend, OR.

• Utilize professional knowledge and strong internal partnerships to support the role and department objectives.
• Design and deliver interactive and engaging training sessions for Operations end users.
• Use various formats (workshops, webinars, e‑learning) to deliver content.
• Create and maintain training materials—guides, presentations, reference documents.
• Tailor content to specific roles and workflows to maximize relevance and effectiveness.
• Develop and update a schedule for the development and implementation of the training program.
• Partner with internal stakeholders (Digital Solutions, Business Unit Operations Managers, Project Controls, Operations PMO) to ensure the content reflects current standards and operational needs.
• Coordinate with subject matter experts to validate the accuracy and completeness of training materials.
• Gather feedback from trainees and stakeholders to assess learning effectiveness.
• Recommend enhancements to improve system utilization and user experience.
• Maintain a repository of training resources for easy access by end users.
• Provide ongoing support for Operations‑specific ERP questions and troubleshooting.
• Travel to company offices and jobsites to provide in‑person training.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

• 7+ years of commercial or utility‑scale EPC construction experience (Project/Field Engineer, Project Manager, Superintendent, Project Controller, or related).
• Strong technical proficiency with project‑management principles: change management, contracting, budgeting, forecasting, and ERP management software.
• Hands‑on ERP experience mandatory; CMiC experience preferred.
• Proficiency in virtual training tools (Zoom, Teams).
• Advanced computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills; self‑motivated self‑starter with independent judgment.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills—capable of building relationships, collaborating, and working well with diverse teams.
• Strong presentation skills; able to facilitate, engage, and command in‑person events of at least 20 participants.
• Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without mandatory employer sponsorship.
