About the RoleAs a Junior Product Manager at Hiredbuddy, you'll play a key role in driving the development and improvement of our hiring platform. You'll work alongside senior product managers, engineers, designers, and stakeholders to define product requirements, prioritize features, and ensure successful delivery. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in defining product vision and strategy by conducting market research, analyzing user feedback, and monitoring competitor trends.
- Support the creation and maintenance of product roadmaps, backlogs, and sprint plans.
- Write clear, detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, marketing, sales) to ensure alignment on product goals and timelines.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Track and report on key product metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar.
- Conduct user testing and gather feedback to validate assumptions and inform product decisions.
- Assist in launching new features by coordinating with stakeholders and preparing release notes.
- Provide support for customer-facing teams by addressing product-related questions and gathering insights.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 0-2 years of experience in product management, business analysis, or related roles (internships count).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a remote work environment.
- Basic understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with product management tools such as Jira, Trello, or Asana is a plus.
