Mentor A Promise is a New York City–based nonprofit serving children and youth (ages 5–18) experiencing housing instability, grounded in the belief that every child is a Promise—full of potential, dignity, and possibility. We deliver consistent, high-quality programming across mentorship, literacy, social‑emotional learning, and creative expression in shelters, schools, and community spaces, creating structured environments where students can grow, be seen, and build lasting skills.

As MAP continues to grow, technology and product innovation serve as critical enablers of mission impact, helping connect students, families, mentors, volunteers, staff, partners, and communities through thoughtful, scalable, and accessible digital solutions.

Promise Stack is MAP's technology, product management, engineering, cloud infrastructure, user experience, delivery management, cybersecurity, and digital innovation division. The division is responsible for designing, building, securing, and scaling the technology ecosystem that powers the organization's programs, operations, communications, learning experiences, and community engagement initiatives.

The Senior Director of Product & Technology serves as the senior operational leader responsible for coordinating product strategy, engineering execution, technology operations, innovation initiatives, and cross‑functional delivery across MAP's technology ecosystem. Working closely with the Chief Product & Technology Officer, this leader helps transform organizational priorities into scalable technology solutions while ensuring alignment between product vision, engineering execution, user experience, security, accessibility, and organizational impact.

The Senior Director helps create the operational structure, leadership alignment, and strategic coordination necessary to support a growing portfolio of mission‑driven products and technology initiatives.
