Position: Energy Efficiency Account Manager II (Remote - CT)

We're looking for an Energy Efficiency Account Manager II to lead engagement with manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and other key market partners who help deliver impactful energy efficiency programs. In this role, you'll combine relationship-building, strategic outreach, and data-driven insights to grow program participation, solve challenges, and create exceptional partner experiences. You'll work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure successful program execution, remove barriers to participation, and identify new opportunities for market growth.

Candidates must reside within the Connecticut area to support local outreach activities approximately 1-2 days per week. Applicants living in nearby regions of Rhode Island and Massachusetts will also be considered, provided they can regularly travel to Connecticut for outreach activities.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Deliversconsistent outreach and account management activities to assigned trade allies, including manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and other market actors, to support program participation
  • Communicates policies and practices related to program requirements, incentive structures, timelines, and submission processes using approved tools and channels (e.g., email, CRM, virtual meetings, and in-person engagements)
  • Coordinatesonboarding and ongoing engagement activities with trade allies, including training on incentive submission processes and portal usage
  • Collaborates with internal program teams to align outreach activities with program goals, schedules, and performance targets
  • Prioritizesoutreach and engagement efforts based on program needs, participation trends, and account-level performance expectations
  • Troubleshoots moderate problems related to incentive submissions, documentation gaps, program rule interpretation, or participation challenges, escalating complex or high-risk issues as appropriate
  • Validatestrade ally submissions, reported activity, and supporting documentation to ensure alignment with program requirements and quality standards
  • Evaluatesrecurring issues or participation barriers and collaborates with program teams to recommend adjustments to outreach tactics or guidance materials
  • Evaluatesprogram participation data, dashboards, and CRM records toidentifyoutreach gaps and support prioritization decisions
  • Validatesaccuracy and completeness of trade ally interaction recordsmaintainedin CRM tools
  • Communicates policies and practicesupdates internally and externally to ensure shared understanding of program changes and expectations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High School diploma or 4 years of relevant work experience
  • A minimum of 3years of professional experience in energy efficiency programs, supply chain engagement, outreach, sales support, or market-facing roles
  • Experience coordinating with external partners and internal program teams in a structured, process-driven environment
  • Ability to evaluate program participation data and prioritize outreach activities accordingly
  • Experiencevalidatingdocumentation and troubleshooting moderate participation or process issues
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including communicating program policies and practices clearly
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and standard office productivity tools

The salary range for this role is $75,000 to 92,000with a target compensation of $79,000- $87,400based on experience and qualifications.
