DESCRIPTION OF WORK- Procurement Preparation:
Prepare procurement documents by researching contracts, reviewing requests, and drafting bid proposals - Contract Coordination:
Organize service contracts and consult with monitors to confirm needs and requirements - Record Maintenance:
Maintain organized procurement files, catalogs, vendor lists, and inventory records - Vendor Communication:
Contact vendors to obtain pricing, resolve discrepancies, and follow up on deliveries - Purchasing Card Tasks:
Allocate purchasing card charges, reconcile statements, and prepare monthly logs - Operational Support:
Provide backup support for mail processing, warehouse deliveries, and routine purchasing issues
- Full-time employment, 37.5 hours per week
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
- Telework:
You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Loysville, Perry County. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

- Three years of experience in purchasing work involving contact with vendors in the procurement of a variety of supplies, materials, equipment, or services; or
- Three years of experience in requisitioning, receiving, storing, distributing, and maintaining inventory of goods; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training. Post‑high school education may be substituted on a year‑for‑year basis for purchasing or stores experience to a maximum of two years.

- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
- This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
- Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports including, but not limited to, PA State Police clearance, PA Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI Fingerprint clearance.
