. has an opportunity within our Victoria branch for a Project Coordinator to coordinate the successful delivery of multiple hazardous materials, abatement, demolition & environmental remediation projects by supporting project planning, logistics, documentation, client communication and field operations in a fast-paced environment. The Project Coordinator serves as a key operational resource, ensuring projects move efficiently from award through closeout while adapting to changing priorities and supporting the broader needs of a collaborative, multi-skilled team.
The salary band for this position is $70,000 - $85,000 annually and is based on relevant skills and experience.
Key Responsibilities- Project Coordination & Delivery
- Safety, Quality and Compliance
- Operational Coordination & Logistics
- Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Environmental Technology, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in project coordination, construction, hazardous materials abatement, environmental remediation, demolition, restoration, or a related industry.
- Experience in asbestos abatement, demolition, remediation or environmental services is considered an asset.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills with the ability to coordinate multiple fast-paced projects simultaneously.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and operational requirements.
- Working knowledge of project documentation, contracts, drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project records.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Bluebeam, and Smartsheet.
- Experience with project management and document control software;
Plan Swift experience is an asset. - Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors, and field teams.
