Mercor is seeking a Computational Seismology & Geophysics Expert to design graduate-level problems that test AI systems using real scientific workflows and open-source tools.
You’ll craft setups, run simulations with SPECFEM, Obs Py, Pyrocko and others, interpret results, and fine-tune tasks for challenging yet solvable problems. Strong Python skills, Linux fluency, and remote work 15–20 hours per week are required.
