Enterprise Time Coordinator

The Enterprise Time Coordinator with the Bureau of Employee Benefits, offers a unique opportunity to lead enterprise-wide time and attendance policy, manage high-visibility projects, and provide expert guidance on FLSA, FMLA, collective bargaining agreements, and more. As the Enterprise Time Coordinator, you will serve as the enterprise-wide expert on time and attendance policy, ensuring compliance with laws, collective bargaining agreements, and internal directives. You will be responsible for navigating a broad and dynamic landscape of over 100 time types in the commonwealth's time and attendance system, applying deep knowledge of FLSA, FMLA, Workers' Compensation, USERRA, and other legislation to provide guidance to agencies, employees, senior leaders, and external partners.

In this role, you will perform the following duties:

  • Policy Expertise: Guide agencies on time and attendance rules based on federal and state laws and collective bargaining agreements
  • System Oversight: Support consistent policy application in human capital management system
  • Agency Support: Assist employees and leaders with questions on appropriate use of time types
  • Compliance Review: Audit data to confirm adherence to laws, directives, and agreements
  • Training Delivery: Lead training and work groups to strengthen statewide understanding

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. AWS (alternate work schedule) may be available after the probationary period.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 3 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg. The ability to telework is subject to change at any time.

  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Human Resource Analyst 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Three years of analytical experience that includes two years of professional human resource experience, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

Other Requirements:

  • This particular position also requires one or more years of full-time time administration experience in SAP software.
