About the Role

The Domain Manager is responsible for overseeing business rules, consulting on complex domain matters, and ensuring quality assurance. They act as a subject matter expert, advising clients and internal teams on best practices and fostering strong client relationships.

Responsibilities
  • Partnering with clients and cross-functional teams to define and deliver Health & Welfare benefit solutions. Meet business needs while incorporating industry best practices and inclusive employee experiences.
  • Identifying proactively, assess, and communicate potential risks related to plan design, compliance, and legislative changes, providing thoughtful guidance to clients and stakeholders.
  • Managing requirements gathering, issue resolution, and project timelines to ensure high-quality outcomes and successful client delivery.
  • Serving as a trusted Health & Welfare subject matter expert across medical, dental, vision, life, disability and related benefit plans. Promoting consistent and equitable solutions.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and clients to support requirements reviews, acceptance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Facilitating effective knowledge transfer and transition activities, ensuring seamless handoffs, stakeholder readiness, and exceptional client support experiences.
  • Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members by providing constructive feedback, foster continuous learning, and creating opportunities for professional growth.
  • Contributing insights and recommendations to leadership regarding client trends, business challenges, process improvements, and innovative solutions.
  • Advocating for compliance, accessibility, and fair benefit administration practices, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and organizational objectives.
  • Championing a culture of collaboration, inclusion, respect, and belonging by valuing diverse perspectives and supporting an environment where all employees can succeed.
Requirements
  • Possess Bachelor or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-7 years of Health & Welfare benefits experience in the benefits outsourcing industry.
  • Possess professional certifications such as CEBS, ASPA, or related credentials.
  • Able to demonstrate coaching and people development experience (4-5+ years).
  • Possess advanced knowledge of Health & Welfare delivery models, plan administration, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
