Business Operations Analyst / Senior Analyst

Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, a leading global law firm with offices in major commercial, legal, and governmental hubs worldwide, is seeking a Business Operations Analyst or Senior Analyst for its firm-wide Operations Team.

The qualified candidate will report to the Director of Business Operations, focusing on several transactional Practice Groups. The position requires a combination of analytical, project management, and interpersonal skills to support daily business operations, financial management, and the strategic vision of our Practice leadership team. This role will reside in either our New York City or Philadelphia office with a hybrid in‑office/remote working schedule.

• Perform financial and business analyses.
• Create efficient reporting files that convert raw data into value‑adding formats/visualizations.
• Assist with the annual rate setting process, routine inventory management and other firm initiatives.
• Help develop matter budgets, client pricing support and client/matter performance analysis.
• Provide support for special projects and firm initiatives at the request of leadership.

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related business discipline.
• One to two years of relevant analytical experience.
• Excellent financial and analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication skills, outstanding judgment, and a strong service orientation.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high‑quality work product.

For positions in New York, NY, and Orange County, CA the salary range for this job posting is $91,500 – $146,325. The base salary or hourly wage range for this position will be determined during the interview process and may vary based on factors such as prior experience, relevant expertise, current business needs, and market factors. The final salary may be outside of this range;

total compensation may also include a full range of medical, financial, and other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and paid time off such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave).
