Avalere Health is seeking a Consultant to join our Policy practice. We rely on deep subject matter expertise and understanding of the business issues facing our clients to assess how the changing policy landscape impacts the pharmaceutical industry, managed care plans, providers, and patients. We provide analytic support and advisory services, including regulatory analysis, evidence generation/review support, policy analysis, legislative strategy, and modelling of proposed and enacted policies to a wide range of clients across the healthcare industry, using both qualitative and quantitative research methods.

Consultants are critical roles within the Policy Practice and manage multiple projects and accounts. Consultants work closely with project leaders and other subject matter experts to execute projects and provide clients with actionable policy and business support.

This position will work closely with the Policy Practice’s vaccine team and clients. Specifically, we are seeking a candidate with experience in and enthusiasm for vaccine‑specific policy and market access, marketing, or commercialization.

A candidate’s relevant experience, education, and skillsets will determine if the Consultant I or Consultant II level is appropriate.

• Serve as a subject matter expert on statutory and regulatory, federal and state health policy‑related issues impacting the pharmaceutical/biotech sector, with a specific emphasis on vaccine policy
• Support and assist in managing project teams to help solve complex client problems and engage clients with novel solutions and ideas.
• Manage multiple clients, as well as short‑and‑long‑term deliverables, to ensure that all of Avalere’s knowledge and expertise are available to meet client needs.
