Job Responsibilities

Principal Strategist

• Lead a team creating long‑term strategic direction for the organization.
• Develop and execute technology projects across the enterprise to drive business growth.
• Drive market, channel and customer insights to shape portfolio strategy and identify new opportunities.
• Collaborate with leaders in merchandising, marketing, and customer experience to make high‑level business decisions.
• Oversee execution of technology initiatives, ensuring alignment of vision, analytic rigor, execution, integration, and communication of results.
• Represent the organization in key decision‑making forums and influence enterprise strategy.

• Postgraduate education in business or related field.
• 1+ years of business experience.
• Solid conceptualization skills and ability to translate concepts into shopper research strategies.
• Exceptional listening and problem‑disaggregation skills.
• Excellent relational, written and verbal communication abilities with strong capacity to articulate persuasive business and results stories.
• Capacity to assimilate data rapidly and accurately.
• Capacity to orchestrate and clearly convey profoundly complex findings to focus on core issues and key opportunities.
• Solid analytical skills corresponding to retail or bundled product industry.
• Capacity to successfully lead complex initiatives that involve frequent interaction with senior leaders.
• Consulting experience preferred.

Work arrangement:
This position may be considered for a Remote or Hybrid work plan. A Hybrid work plan means the employee center job will be a mix of virtual and on‑premise location at a Target area. A Remote work plan means the employee works all day from home or an area outside a Target area, with potential travel to HQ up to 4 times each year.

Salary Range: $ - $ USD. Pay depends on experience, certifications, and geographic market.
