About the Role
Ezurio is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own our Single Board Computer (SBC) portfolio end to end, spanning both our established SBC lines and our newly acquired Gateworks industrial SBC family. This is a senior, hands‑on product leadership role for someone with a strong hardware background who can drive commercial and technical decisions across the full SBC lifecycle: growing the standard portfolio, leading custom SBC programs, and owning the customer relationship for sustaining boards already in the field.
You will join a product management team covering Ezurio's full connectivity and compute portfolio, reporting to the VP of Product Management & Marketing. This is a newly created role reflecting Ezurio's continued investment in growing its SBC business.
Preferred work location is onsite in Irvine, CA, with remote work available for candidates based on the West Coast.
Legal authorization to work in the US is required.
- Own product strategy and roadmap across the combined SBC portfolio: established SBC families built on NXP i.MX processors, and the Gateworks industrial SBC line (NXP i.MX 8M+, 95 Catalina family, and successors).
- Identify and prioritize new standard SBC opportunities across industrial, defense, aerospace, and medical markets, building on Ezurio's AS9100D and ISO 9001 certified, US‑manufactured position.
- Define the integration strategy across Ezurio's SBC portfolios: rationalize overlapping form factors and processor platforms, and present one coherent SBC story to the market.
- Own competitive positioning against SOM/SBC vendors (Toradex, Digi, Variscite, SECO, and similar) and against specialist rugged and defense SBC suppliers.
- Partner with the appropriate product and engineering teams on the software strategy for the SBC portfolio, including BSP support model, software lifecycle commitments, platform roadmap alignment, and the customer‑facing software value proposition across the SBC portfolio.
- Serve as the primary commercial and technical owner for sustaining requests on shipped custom and standard SBCs, working closely with sales, engineering, and operations.
- Lead a structured intake and review process for sustaining requests, assessing scope and impact before work begins.
- Own portfolio decisions on which SBC customer relationships to continue supporting long term versus transitioning toward end of life or last time buy.
- Define commercial terms for sustaining engagements in statements of work and quotes, including re‑qualification costs, notice periods, and customer approval processes.
- Own customer communication and formal acknowledgment of Product Change Notices (PCNs) affecting sustained boards, partnering with Customer Service.
- Own the product and roadmap decisions for this portfolio, working alongside program management, sales, and customer service resources who support day‑to‑day execution with customers and engineering, so you are never working alone.
- Own the commercial qualification and business case for new custom SBC programs, from initial request through quoting and award.
- Serve as the primary commercial point of contact for custom program engagements, partnering closely with sales throughout the customer relationship.
- Partner directly with Engineering program management as the commercial counterpart, providing end‑to‑end ownership from kick‑off through sustaining.
- Partner with engineering leadership on schedule, budget, and risk visibility for active custom programs.
- Represent SBC sustaining and custom program status in quarterly business reviews and leadership updates.
- Drive cross‑functional alignment across sales, engineering, operations, and customer success to maintain a consistent, shared view of sustaining and custom program status.
- Act as the direct technical and commercial interface for key sustaining and custom program accounts, supporting sales and customer success on complex, long‑running customer relationships.
- Strong hardware background: hands‑on understanding of hardware design and the PCB design cycle, BOM management, and…
