Job Title Medicaid Enterprise System and Enterprise Data Warehouse Coordinator
The Department of Health Services (DHS) , Division of Medicaid Services (DMS) is recruiting to fill a Medicaid Enterprise System and Enterprise Data Warehouse Coordinator (MES-EDWC) position, within the Bureau of Clinical Policy and Pharmacy (BCPP). BCPP develops and oversees Medicaid clinical policies, priorauthorizationoperations, and pharmacy benefits to ensure members receive the right services at the right time.
This position has the ability to work remotely up to 5 days per week but may be required to report to an office location on occasion to complete certain tasks. This position can be headquartered at one of our central or regional offices . This schedule may vary based on training or operational need.

As the MES-EDWC, you will be the business system and data expert/EDW super user, MES lead, and internal resource for the Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) system maintenance and modification requests and for EDW advanced query builds. You will apply technologies to meet business requirements, make recommendations for technologies, and use project management techniques to implement approved technologies.
Additionally, you will:
- Interact with internal and external partners, including DHS divisions, other State Agencies, and the contracted MES vendors directing systems and operations support for the bureau.
- Provide direction to vendors and project team members directly and serve as an advisor to bureau leadership in those areas.
- Oversea and coordinate work completed by the contracted MES vendors that pertain to the BCPP’s work activities, ensuring that such work is completed consistently within the desired project scope, timeline, and resources.
- Develop operational objectives, public reporting, production of detailed business requirement specifications, development of report layouts and outputs, conducting user training, and corresponding with outside entities.
- Develop improved system and analytical capabilities by monitoring best practices and emerging trends in analytics software, methods and techniques, and for consulting with analysts on complex system and analytical needs.
- Serve as the primary quality control/quality assurance lead on the most complex system and analytical work products.
You will partner with DHS divisions, other agencies, and federal entities on various Medicaid programs to ensure needs are being met by program partners. This work impacts a variety of internal and external programs and partners including DHS, State legislature, Medicaid Senior Care members, Family Planning and Family Planning only members, Vaccine for Children Program members and Wisconsin providers.
Salary InformationThe starting pay is between $43.50 and $48.00 per hour (approximately between $90,500 and $99,800 per year), depending on qualifications, plus excellent benefits.
A 12-month probationary period is required.
Pay for current or former state employees will be set based on the rules that apply to compensation for the applicable transaction.
This position is classified as an IS Business Automation Specialist and is in pay schedule and range 07/33.
