Your experience at Deel will be a career accelerator. At the forefront of the global work revolution, you'll tackle complex challenges that impact millions of people's working lives. With our momentum—backed by a $17.3 billion valuation and $1 B in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) in just over five years—you'll drive meaningful impact while building expertise that makes you a sought-after leader in the transformation of global work.
We're building the next generation of global benefits and time-off solutions. As Staff Product Operations Manager for Benefits & Time Off, you'll work at the intersection of product, engineering, and operations to ship integrations, coordinate go-to-market launches, and unblock complex cross-team dependencies.
Benefits is one of the most complex, localized, and regulated product areas in HR. It's also where companies and employees interact most frequently. Getting it right means trust and scale. You'll be working on something that touches millions of workers globally. The best POMs hold complexity without losing sight of the customer. You'll work directly with hiring managers who've seen this space evolve, product teams shipping fast, and engineers building the next layer of global benefits infrastructure.
Your core responsibilities:
- Lead integration work with third-party benefit and retirement providers, managing technical requirements, data flows, and partnership logistics.
- Coordinate operational rollouts with product, engineering, client success, and ops teams. Each integration is a bespoke client conversation, not a flip-the-switch feature.
- Scope and validate customer requirements across different countries and regions, then synthesize that into clear prioritization for the product team.
- Build and own the go-to-market narrative for new integrations and features, working with marketing and sales to position value correctly.
- Identify and unblock operational friction in how we launch benefits features, from compliance through go-live.
Required:
- Domain expertise in benefits or related HR domain. You've worked with benefits operations, global compliance, or HR tech in a previous role and understand the landscape.
- Comfort with technical concepts. You don't need to code, but you need to understand APIs, data structures, and how integrations work.
- Strong product mindset. You can jump into a product, understand its logic, and articulate what works and what needs fixing.
- Experience working with engineering teams and understanding how to unblock technical dependencies.
- Bias for action and ownership. You see a problem, you move. You don't wait for permission; you take intelligent risks and own the outcome.
- Proven ability to work across functions in chaos. You thrive when there's no single owner. You synthesize input, make calls, and move forward.
Nice to have:
- Global HR experience across multiple regions or countries.
- Experience at a fintech, payroll, or benefits platform.
- Fluency with AI tools to supplement your work and accelerate problem-solving.
