About the Role
Our client is seeking a dedicated and proactive Senior HSE Advisor to oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance for their remote operations. Working from a remote-first setup, you will develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel, regardless of their physical location. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of assessing risks, developing mitigation strategies, and fostering a strong safety culture across dispersed teams within the Oil & Gas industry .
You will be instrumental in ensuring that our client meets and exceeds all regulatory requirements and industry best practices, contributing significantly to operational integrity and sustainability from anywhere.
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) management systems suitable for remote operations .
- Conduct remote risk assessments, incident investigations, and audits to identify potential hazards and non-compliance issues.
- Develop and deliver HSE training programs and awareness campaigns tailored for a remote workforce.
- Monitor regulatory changes and ensure the organization's policies and practices remain compliant.
- Advise management and operational teams on HSE matters, providing guidance and support for risk mitigation.
- Promote a positive safety culture through engagement, communication, and the implementation of best practices across all Oil & Gas activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in HSE roles, with a strong focus on remote or dispersed operations within the Oil & Gas or a similar high-risk industry.
- In-depth knowledge of relevant HSE legislation and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, OHSAS 18001/ISO 45001).
- Proven experience in developing and delivering effective HSE training and communication strategies for remote teams.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage multiple priorities effectively in a remote setting, liaising with teams across various time zones.
