About the Role

Our client is seeking a strategic and results-oriented Partnership Development Manager to join their team in Benoni. This role is crucial for identifying, developing, and nurturing collaborations with corporate entities, foundations, and other organizations to support our mission. You will be responsible for securing strategic partnerships that provide funding, resources, and enhanced program delivery capabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong network within the business community of Gauteng and a proven ability to forge mutually beneficial relationships, with a blend of office-based and remote work flexibility.

• Identify and prospect potential strategic partners aligned with our organizational goals.
• Develop compelling proposals and presentations to secure new partnerships.
• Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing partners.
• Negotiate partnership agreements and ensure successful implementation of collaborative initiatives.
• Represent the organization at relevant industry events and networking functions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure partner needs are met and commitments are fulfilled.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development, partnership management, or fundraising.
• Proven track record of successfully establishing and managing strategic partnerships.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of the non-profit sector and corporate social responsibility.
• Experience working within the Gauteng business landscape, with contacts in the Benoni area being an advantage.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
