The impact you’ll make:

Key responsibilities

Shape and translate category strategy, consumer needs and market trends into compelling product concepts, value propositions and product requirements.
Act as the product expert for Baristina and Semi-Auto, continuously benchmarking competitors across coffee quality, user experience, features, propositions and price points to strengthen product competitiveness.
Build strong business cases, evaluating sales potential, profitability and investment while optimizing the product range and portfolio mix.
Represent the consumer throughout product development, partnering with R&D, Design, UX Research, Quality and Project Management to deliver the intended product and consumer experience.
Define the right consumer validation and testing approach, using UX Research, Ratings & Reviews, Consumer Care and market feedback to drive continuous product improvement.
Manage product lifecycle activities, including range improvements and extensions, working with DfX and Supply teams to improve profitability and portfolio effectiveness.
Partner with Marketing and Design to translate product propositions, features, claims and reasons to believe into strong consumer-facing communication, and support markets through product launches.
Look beyond today's portfolio, analysing consumer, market, competitor and technology developments to identify opportunities for future Baristina and Semi-Auto coffee experiences.

Key success measures

The skills and knowledge you’ll bring:

7+ years of product management experience, with proven experience developing physical consumer products / consumer durables
Strong track record of taking products from consumer need and proposition through development, launch and post-launch improvement
Strong affinity for physical product craftsmanship, technology and attention to product detail
Strong consumer orientation, with the ability to translate insights and unmet needs into compelling products and propositions
Strong business acumen, including experience building business cases and balancing consumer value, cost, profitability and investment
Strong competitive mindset with experience benchmarking products, propositions and market dynamics
Entrepreneurial and self-starting mindset, with the ability to identify opportunities, challenge existing solutions and take ownership to move ideas forward
Strong analytical, problem-solving and prioritization skills
Excellent communication and influencing skills, with experience working across R&D, Design, Marketing, Quality, Supply and commercial teams
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Engineering, Design or a related field
Coffee experience is an advantage, but curiosity and a strong interest in coffee, technology and physical product experiences are essential
