Position: Procurement Intern (12-month contract)

Responsibilities

Assist Supply Chain with supplier set up, research, outreach, supplier assessments, competitive sourcing, reviewing purchase requests.

Work with key business stakeholders to ensure a comprehensive understanding of ongoing business needs.

Fleet administration including employee onboarding, vehicle inventory management and other fleet related tasks.

Develop meaningful data analytics for presentations and to support negotiations.

Coordination with suppliers and data transfer.

Support implementation of digitized platforms, including the launch of any new supplier site portals and the development of internal support tools.

Seek opportunities to drive savings to and efficiencies for the business and implement new processes or suppliers as needed.

Focus on change management strategies to further support colleagues, internal customers, and external partners as our business overall adapt to change.

Research markets to assist in strategy development and development of market expertise.

Other tasks as assigned.

Competencies

Must have recently graduated from a relevant University degree program - supply chain, logistics, business administration, etc

Excellent customer service and written and verbal communication skills.

Strong computer skills, particularly in Excel.

Flexibility to take on additional work, as required.

Ability to speak French will be considered an asset.
