About the Role
Our client is seeking a strategic and innovative AI Product Manager to lead the development and strategy of their artificial intelligence product portfolio in Soweto . This role is pivotal in identifying market opportunities, defining product roadmaps, and guiding cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered solutions that meet customer needs and drive business growth. You will be responsible for the entire product lifecycle, from ideation and development to launch and iteration.
The ideal candidate possesses a strong understanding of AI technologies and a proven ability to translate complex concepts into successful market-ready products.
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI-driven products.
- Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer interviews to identify unmet needs and opportunities.
- Translate business requirements and user needs into detailed product specifications and user stories.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, data science, design, and marketing teams throughout the product lifecycle.
- Prioritize product features and manage the development backlog based on business value and technical feasibility.
- Launch new AI products and features, defining go-to-market strategies and success metrics.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in product management, with a significant focus on Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning products.
- Proven track record of successfully launching and managing technology products.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts, capabilities, and limitations.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working in an agile development environment.
