About the Role

Our client is seeking a meticulous and proactive Remote Retail Operations Specialist to support their expanding retail operations from a remote capacity. This role is crucial for ensuring the seamless execution of backend processes that support our physical stores, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and compliance. You will work closely with store teams, logistics partners, and internal departments to streamline operations, troubleshoot issues, and implement process improvements that enhance the overall customer and employee experience across the Centurion region and beyond.

• Manage and optimize operational workflows related to inventory management, order fulfillment, and stock replenishment for retail locations.
• Act as a primary point of contact for store teams regarding operational queries, providing timely and effective support.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement, proposing and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with the e-commerce and logistics teams to ensure a consistent and efficient omnichannel retail experience.
• Develop and maintain operational documentation, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training materials for store staff.
• Monitor key operational performance indicators (KPIs) and report on findings to management.

• Proven experience in retail operations, supply chain, or a similar operational role, preferably with a focus on backend processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and drive process improvements.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a remote environment.
• Proficiency in using retail management software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with remote teams and stakeholders.
