Remote Project Manager - Business Process Improvement

About the Role

Our client is looking for a skilled Remote Project Manager to focus on business process improvement initiatives across their organization. This position is designed for an individual who excels in managing projects in a virtual environment and has a keen eye for optimizing workflows and operational efficiency. You will be responsible for identifying areas for enhancement, leading the implementation of new processes, and ensuring successful adoption by teams.

As a key remote contributor, you will collaborate extensively with various departments to drive impactful changes that streamline operations and improve overall business performance, operating from anywhere in South Africa.

• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop and implement project plans for process redesign and optimization initiatives, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
• Manage project resources, timelines, and budgets, ensuring successful and timely project completion in a virtual setting.
• Facilitate virtual workshops and meetings to gather requirements, communicate progress, and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Implement change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption of new processes by employees.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented processes, making adjustments as necessary for continuous improvement.

• Minimum of 6 years of experience in project management , with a specific focus on business process improvement or operational excellence.
• Proven experience managing projects in a fully remote capacity , utilizing digital collaboration tools effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex processes into actionable plans.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills tailored for remote interactions.
• Experience with process mapping tools and methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma) is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
