Operations Improvement Consultant

About the Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Operations Improvement Consultant to join their fully remote team, supporting businesses in the Mossel Bay region and beyond. This role is centered on enhancing operational efficiency, streamlining workflows, and driving cost reductions for clients. You will utilize analytical skills to diagnose operational challenges, design practical solutions, and guide clients through the implementation of process improvements.

• Analyze client's current operational procedures and identify areas for enhancement.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource allocation.
• Utilize data analytics to measure operational performance and identify key metrics for improvement.
• Design and document new, more efficient operational workflows and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with client teams remotely to ensure successful adoption and integration of recommended changes.
• Provide ongoing support and monitoring to ensure sustained operational improvements.

• Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, process improvement, or a consulting role focused on operations.
• Proven experience in driving significant operational improvements and cost savings.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach.
• Excellent communication and remote collaboration skills.
• Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other relevant methodologies is a plus.
