Responsibilities

Summary

The Reporting Analyst IIwillminedata and drive ideas to improve business unit functioning.

Thisrolewill obtain pertinent data from all relevant departments,compile and clean this information,and ultimately analyze the data.

This will require the ability to generate useful deductions from raw information and continually create andmodifydatabases to meet the needs of our expanding company.

The Reporting AnalystIIwill be the first level of resource which the RA I will seek outfor support when needed.

Essential Job Functions:

• Gather raw data from appropriate resourcesandpertinentindividuals

• Collate such data tofacilitateinterpretationand relevance tothe business athand

• Check,cleanand analyzedata with consideration for the influence of missing information, outliers, plus confounding and extraneous variables

• Report on insights obtained,with the intent that this information might beutilizedto inform business strategies

• Consult on areas of uncertainty to promoteoptimaluse of ideas derived fromdata

• Createand update data sets that evolve in tandem withthebusinessneeds

• Write SQL queries, views, etc.

• Must be able to understand what is happening via the ETLprocess

• Train and develop RA I on standard reporting practices

Qualifications

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Knowledge ofSQL Query suite of tools

• Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBIor similar self-service products

• Demonstrated ability to translate functional requirements into technical requirements

• Clear understanding of various methods for gathering and normalizing data

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degreeand/or relevant experience in business or related field

• 2+years’ experience insimilarposition

• In office workdays are required; there will be day(s) designated for working remotely based on schedule assigned
