This role will be the face of the Amex GBT Ovation Network for the West and Central regions, responsible for supplier relations, partnerships, and management of our luxury Independent Agents.

• Partner with leisure suppliers and Independent Agents to grow and strengthen the Ovation Network.
• Optimize and deliver enhanced value to Independent Agents (IAs), ensuring they have the resources and support they need to succeed.
• Manage existing relationships, build strong partnerships, and cultivate new ones to expand our network and drive growth.
• Identify new technology, services and solutions that optimize the Ovation Network, providing a world‑class experience to partners.
• Serve as the main point of contact for any West Coast supplier queries, ensuring their needs are met and they receive exceptional service.
• Coordinate IA challenges and questions, ensuring that IAs have a flawless experience and are aware of the support available from Amex GBT Ovation.
• Assist with Independent Agent Portal content and identify opportunities to keep IAs informed of valuable resources and latest information.
• Liaise between Independent Agents and various business units (including accounting/finance, Operations/IT, etc.) to establish clear communication and collaboration.
• Foster positive relationships with highly skilled professionals to strengthen partnerships and enhance our offerings.
• Represent and attend key supplier meetings, trade shows, and industry events to showcase our services and build our reputation.
• Establish a community of Independent Agents who excel in engagement, collaboration, and sharing effective strategies within our network.

• 5+ years of leisure travel experience with proven ability to deliver connected customer experiences, build positive relationships, and communicate effectively. Travel/Hospitality experience is required.
• Strong networking skills, with a talent for identifying new opportunities and attracting new talent to grow the business.
• Strong partnership management and supplier relations skills.
• Forward‑thinking approach, strong problem‑solving skills, and ability to translate ideas into actionable plans with exceptional execution.
• Excellent understanding of data and analytics and how these are used to power IA and partner relationships.
• Strong people leadership skills, with ability to inspire, motivate and develop a team – although this is not a people leadership role.
• Ability to instigate and drive positive change, leading multifunctional teams through transformation and supporting them to operate effectively through periods of change.
• Strong senior management skills and ability to navigate matrix organizations, influencing at every level.
• Global experience and ability to work with remote teams and across time zones is a plus.
• Consistent record of delivering results in a highly commercial environment.
